The Dante Alighieri Society in Hong Kong is a charitable institution that has been promoting Italian language and culture since its establishment in 1934. As part of a global organization, our Society connects Hong Kong with the vibrant heart of Rome. Recently, we relocated to the Hong Kong Art Centre in Wan Chai, a move that enables us to further our mission. This significant change was made possible by our esteemed founding sponsors, as well as the continuous support we have received over the years.

With a team of qualified native Italian-speaking teachers, we offer a diverse range of Italian courses for adults and children, catering to students of all proficiency levels. Our offerings include group courses, individual classes (both in-person and online), tailor-made courses, and workshops specifically designed for organizations.

In addition to our language courses, we host exciting cultural and social events monthly, provide access to a rich library of Italian resources, and offer educational activities during school holidays. Moreover, we are equipped to provide certified professional translation services using our team of dedicated native speakers.

Working in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy, the Italian Chamber of Commerce, the Italian Cultural Institute, and other Italian associations, we organize various activities aimed at promoting Italian culture and language. These activities include concerts, wine tasting events, and cooking classes.

As the sole accredited institution in Hong Kong authorized to administer PLIDA Tests, we offer assessments for Italian as a foreign language that are officially recognized by the Italian Government and the European Union.
