Ladysmith Equestrian is a horse-riding centre and livery yard in Chiseldon, near Swindon and Marlborough, Wiltshire. Founded in 2002 by Rosemary Coley, a BHS Stage 4 Senior Coach and BHS Accredited Professional Coach, the centre is built around a welfare-first ethos and aims to provide a calm, supportive setting for horses and riders. Its qualified instructors offer adult riding lessons for beginners through to experienced riders, with private and semi-private sessions available.
Riders may bring their own horse or ride one of the centre’s horses in its 60-by-20-metre arena. The centre also runs a four-week course for beginners and those returning to riding, as well as day boot camps featuring horse care, confidence-building activities and a riding lesson. Livery options include part and full care, with year-round turnout, off-road hacking, arena use and routine support.
Facilities include a floodlit outdoor arena, show jumps, an equine solarium, CCTV, a rug room and changing rooms. Ladysmith holds a five-star licence rating from Swindon Borough Council
