LAET

The Laboratoire Aménagement Économie Transports (LAET) is a research laboratory focused on planning, economics and transport. Founded in 1979 as the Laboratoire d’Économie des Transports and renamed in 2015, it is a joint research unit (UMR 5593) under the supervision of Université Lumière Lyon 2, the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the École nationale des travaux publics de l’État (ENTPE). Based in Lyon and Vaulx-en-Velin, LAET brings together researchers and supports collaborative, multidisciplinary inquiry into transport, mobility and territory.

Its work includes research projects, doctoral theses, scientific events and publications, alongside participation in research networks and open-science initiatives. The laboratory shares its findings through books, journal contributions, working papers and the blog “Transports, Mobilités, Territoire.” It also offers information about its training activities and posts opportunities for employment, internships and work-study placements.
