La Ferme du Facteur Enchantée

La Ferme du Facteur Enchantée is a family-friendly animal park set across four hectares in Hauterives, just five minutes from the Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval. Open seasonally from April to November, it offers a shaded, natural setting where visitors of all ages can meet, observe, feed and gently interact with a variety of animals. Highlights include scheduled bottle-feeding sessions with lambs and goat kids, a cuddling area and pony rides for children up to around seven or eight, offered in partnership with the Hauterives Equestrian Centre.

Families can also celebrate children’s birthdays with tailored activities and time among the animals. For meals and refreshments, the farm provides homemade snacks prepared with fresh, local ingredients, along with picnic areas for visitors who wish to bring their own food. The grounds are accessible to strollers and wheelchair users accompanied by a helper.

Schools, holiday centres and specialist organisations can arrange group visits, including outside regular opening days
