La Forêt Électrique is an independent cinema and creative cultural project based in the Bonnefoy district of Toulouse, France. Located in a former industrial hall on Chemin de Lapujade, it is being transformed into a year-round venue dedicated to both showing and making films. Since 2021, its team has developed a model that brings cinema together with artistic creation and community events.
Its activities include film screenings, meetings with artists, concerts, creative workshops, artist residencies, and celebrations, with a particular interest in adventurous art and new imaginaries. The project also presents Nanométrages, a programme showcasing short-form film creations. During major renovation work beginning in 2026, the venue is temporarily closed, and La Forêt Électrique is continuing its programme at locations across Toulouse and nearby areas.
These off-site events include screenings and explorations of subjects such as science fiction and experimental cinema. The organisation also welcomes donations to support its development and plans to reopen its refurbished space, which is designed to be accessible to people with reduced mobility
