La Forja de Historias is a creative writing and literature school based in Barcelona, offering courses and support for people who want to develop their writing seriously. The school treats writing as a craft that can be learned through reading, analysis and practice, helping each student strengthen their own voice and build compelling, well-structured stories. Its teaching is close, rigorous and personalised, recognising that every writer follows a different path.
Programs include year-long courses in creative writing, short stories, novels and writing for young people, alongside workshops and individual guidance. La Forja also offers text correction and personalised accompaniment, supporting writers as they develop and complete their projects. Courses are available in Barcelona and online, with small groups that encourage discussion and a supportive learning environment.
The school is directed by Paula Cifuentes and is located on Carrer de Brusi in Barcelona. Its approach is designed not to make writers alike, but to help each person write better, gain confidence and bring greater clarity and personality to their work.
