La Gaule Mordellaise is a local fishing association based in the Ille-et-Vilaine department of France. Founded on 18 June 1947, it supports recreational fishing and provides practical information for anglers visiting the area’s rivers and fishing sites. Its website shares details about association activities, fishing regulations, seasonal calendars, local contacts and fishing locations, while also promoting responsible conduct and care for riverbanks and waters.
The association manages the Fishery des Perrières, which opened in 2018. This facility has 15 fishing platforms, including one accessible to people with reduced mobility, as well as a shelter. It offers a densely stocked fishery under specific rules: fishing is limited to designated platforms, barbless hooks and suitable landing equipment are required, and catches must be returned to the water promptly. An additional permit is required for access. The association also features the Pêcherie des Rives du Meu, though the site notes that it was temporarily unavailable at the time of publication.
