We are a dedicated agency in Lagos State, Nigeria, focused on addressing and providing support for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Our mission is to provide sensitive services to victims while promoting healthy relationships and enhancing our coordinated community response.

At DSVA, we offer a range of services to assist survivors in their healing process. We believe in preventive measures, so we conduct advocacy programs targeting various groups. Our pool of clinical psychologists provides counseling and medical services, offering different forms of therapy to victims.

We also ensure that survivors have access to free legal representation through the OPD and the Lagos Public Interest Law Partnership. Referrals are an essential part of our services, ensuring prompt medical examination and supporting survivors through the legal process. We coordinate efforts with responder agencies to eradicate sexual and gender-based violence crimes in our society.

Additionally, we provide training programs to raise awareness and empower our communities. In collaboration with the Lagos State Government, we have established a Domestic and Sexual Violence Trust Fund to provide financial assistance to victims and their families. Our focus is on safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children by offering safeguarding and child protection courses.
