LAG Vignola

LAG Vignola, or Libera Associazione Genitori, is a volunteer, nonprofit association founded in 1982. For more than 40 years, it has worked in the local community to support health, wellbeing, social connection, opportunities and rights. The association began by offering care and rehabilitation pathways for people affected by drug dependence, later developing its work to include youth policies and health promotion. Since 2003, a social cooperative has worked alongside LAG, managing services, programmes and facilities related to addiction.

Today, LAG focuses on prevention, information, education and the promotion of wellbeing. Its activities include projects, research, publications and conferences, as well as events on health, prevention and health protection. It also organises training initiatives and conferences addressing health, wellbeing and social justice. Through activities in schools, libraries and the wider community, LAG encourages healthy lifestyles and supports social engagement. The association shares information about its projects and initiatives and invites the public to support its prevention work through Italy’s 5x1000 tax-donation scheme.
