Lahti Jets is an American football and flag football club based in Lahti, Finland. With roots dating back to 1985, the club is reviving its sporting tradition and aims to provide quality training and a welcoming, community-minded place to play throughout the year. Lahti Jets welcomes beginners and experienced players alike; no previous experience is required, and newcomers can get help learning the game.
The club offers opportunities to train and play both American football and flag football, with open practices where interested people can try either sport. Its summer group sessions are held at Pirates Stadium on Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 5 to 7 p.m. New participants can attend their first month free; after that, the monthly fee is €30, with further payment details available at practice.
Lahti Jets encourages players to learn, develop their skills and enjoy an inclusive team environment. The club also hopes to compete in a league.
