Laird of Blackwood

Historic Estates Ltd is a Scottish company dedicated to preserving European heritage through responsible land stewardship. Established in 2010, the organization acquired land on the historic Blackwood Estate in Lanarkshire, which features ancient native woodland threatened by commercial development. With committed efforts from Historic Estates and the Blackwood Estate Community Association, this woodland is now safeguarded for future generations.

In addition to conservation, Historic Estates Ltd offers unique opportunities for individuals to engage with Scotland's aristocratic traditions by purchasing Laird, Lord, or Lady titles. Their offerings have inspired various creative ventures, including a fantasy novel trilogy and new brands in different markets. With a mission that combines environmental preservation with cultural engagement, Historic Estates Ltd continues to explore potential restorations of other significant heritage properties. Supported by their community of patrons worldwide, they strive to enrich the legacy of Scotland's natural and historical treasures.
