la Jumenterie

Centre équestre la Jumenterie is an equestrian centre in Rouffignac-de-Sigoulès, in the Dordogne, around 10 minutes from Bergerac and 500 metres from Château de Bridoire. Set on a 30-hectare property among the vineyards, meadows and woods of the Monbazillac hills, it provides facilities for riding in a countryside setting and access to local riding trails.

The centre welcomes children from age four and riders of all abilities, from beginners to Galop 7. Its year-round riding school offers regular group lessons on ponies and horses, with instruction in disciplines including dressage and jumping. During school holidays, riders can join supervised day or week-long courses, with options for day attendance, half-board or full-board accommodation in guest rooms. The Jumenterie also offers horse boarding, half-leases, trail rides and personalised competition coaching. Riders may prepare for club or amateur events in show jumping and eventing, according to their experience and goals. Boarding arrangements include box accommodation with daily turnout from December to March, followed by group outdoor living from March to November.
