Lakamas Landscape Design is a landscape design studio serving Seattle, the Eastside, and Camano Island, Washington. The studio creates outdoor living spaces that balance visual artistry, practical use, and ecological value, with a particular focus on Pacific Northwest native plants. Its approach treats each garden as a composed environment, beginning with the organization and circulation of the space and its relationship to architecture.

Designs account for grading, hardscape, site conditions, and regulatory constraints, then use deliberate, layered planting to support seasonal continuity, resilience, and ecological function. The landscapes are intended to sustain pollinators, birds, and other wildlife while offering an inviting setting for everyday life. Lakamas offers landscape design, design oversight, plant procurement and placement, focused planting plans, garden consultations, and speaking and workshops.

The studio emphasizes listening to clients and incorporating their preferences, including color, sensory elements, sun and shade, textures, and desired levels of garden formality. Its work brings structure and planting together for enduring, site-responsive outdoor spaces
