Lake Natron Camp is an ecologically minded adventure camp in Ngare Sero, northern Tanzania, set amid the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. The area is home to Maasai communities, abundant wildlife and Lake Natron’s remarkable lesser flamingo breeding grounds. The camp also offers access to ancient hominid footprints and Ol Doinyo Lengai, the active carbonatite volcano.

Accommodation includes nine tented suites, with twin, double and family options, as well as a distinctive concept room designed to make use of the cooling properties of the local soil. Guests can relax in natural spring pools, arrange a massage with locally trained Maasai women, or enjoy a lakeside sundowner.

Activities include multi-day treks between Lake Natron, Olduvai and the Ngorongoro area; hikes to Ol Doinyo Lengai, Ngare Sero waterfalls and hominid footprints; and birdwatching and walks on the lake flats.
