The Lake Clinic Cambodia (TLC) is a nonprofit health services organization working to improve access to essential care in remote and underserved communities on and around Cambodia’s Tonle Sap Lake. Since 2007, TLC has provided more than 360,000 free health services to people living in floating communities and isolated villages. Its clinical teams serve ten villages and approximately 13,000 patients, offering adult and pediatric primary care, vaccinations, dental and eye care, antenatal services, home visits for older adults and people with disabilities, health education, and referrals when needed.
TLC’s outreach teams also provide home-based support and programs focused on water sanitation, education, floating gardens, nutrition, and care for children at risk. The organization invites people to support its work through donations, volunteering, and sharing information about its services. Volunteer opportunities welcome healthcare professionals and students, as well as people without healthcare backgrounds who want to contribute. Based in Siem Reap, TLC aims to help children and adults in lake communities access essential health services.
