Lake Macquarie Dolphins

Lake Macquarie Dolphins Water Polo Club is a community water polo club based in the Lake Macquarie area of New South Wales. The club calls the Swansea and Speers Point swim centres home and takes part in local competition across the Hunter Region. Its season runs from October to March, providing opportunities for players at different stages of their development to take part in the sport.

The Dolphins field junior teams in the under-12, under-14 and under-17 age groups, for both boys and girls. Senior players can compete in men’s and women’s teams across A, B and C grades. The club has a strong history of player development, with junior and senior members representing at all levels. It also maintains close links with regional representative programs, helping connect club participation with wider opportunities in the sport. For prospective players and families, the Dolphins offer a local pathway into water polo, from junior teams through to senior competition, alongside access to club information about water polo skills, locations and contact details.
