Lake Park High School Bands is the band program of Lake Park High School, dedicated to giving students a rich and rewarding musical experience. The program supports students’ musical, social, and academic growth through instruction, collaboration, and performance. Students explore music in a variety of styles and at different levels of difficulty, while developing skills in scales, harmony, rhythm, music theory, and the mechanics of music. Ensemble participation also encourages teamwork, group discipline, respect for fellow students, and opportunities to take on leadership and responsibility.
The program includes marching band and color guard, and its website provides information about events, parents, and these activities. Visitors can also browse a gallery of band photos, available as prints or high-resolution downloads. Donations support Lake Park Bands, and local organizations and businesses are recognized as sponsors, including Bob Rogers Travel, Thrivent, Itasca Bank & Trust, Pop’s Pizza & Sports Bar, Horn Stash, and Risicato Designs. Together, the program’s educational, performance, and community elements help students build musical understanding and work toward shared goals.
