Lakeside Travel Baseball Association (LTBA) is an independent organization affiliated with Lakeside School District by name, but governed by its own board of directors. Its mission is to provide Lakeside athletes with a safe, positive, fair, and enjoyable environment to learn baseball and build respect, confidence, sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork. Experienced coaches guide players in developing their skills and preparing for more advanced levels of play.

LTBA holds tryouts for players ages 7U through 14U in late summer, selecting teams by invitation for fall and spring USSSA tournament play. The program is competitive rather than recreational, with weekend tournaments and practices generally held more than twice a week, depending on age group. Team budgets vary according to needs such as uniforms, equipment, and tournaments, and are funded by players and families through payments or fundraising.

The association’s tournament teams began competing as the Lakeside Rams in spring 2025, following a partnership formed in 2024 involving Lakeside Baseball Head Coach Brooks Balisterri, Arkansas Travelers Manager Rich Thompson, and the Hot Springs Gamblers organization. LTBA does not guarantee a place on the Lakeside High School team.
