Lakeuden Ursa ry is an astronomy and stargazing association based in Seinäjoki, serving South Ostrobothnia, Finland. It welcomes anyone interested in astronomy, space, or observing the sky, regardless of age, experience, or access to equipment. The association brings people together to explore, observe, and photograph the universe through club evenings, public events, training, and shared observing activities.

At Sahanneva Observatory, Lakeuden Ursa hosts public stargazing presentations and visits, as well as pre-booked sessions. Its facilities include telescopes and all-sky cameras that record celestial phenomena throughout the day and night; members can view live camera feeds. The association also shares observations, videos, astronomy guidance, and educational resources, including information about getting started, sky charts, stargazing software, light pollution, and observing equipment.

Members can take part in community activities, training, and events, and receive member benefits. The website provides an event calendar, current astronomy news, observing updates, and practical information for visitors and aspiring members. Through outreach and hands-on experiences, Lakeuden Ursa makes astronomy accessible to both newcomers and experienced enthusiasts.
