Lakewood Guitars is a German guitar maker known for handcrafted instruments that combine traditional craftsmanship with modern design. Built in Germany, its guitars are created with care and precision, with an emphasis on distinctive character, appearance, and rich tone. The range includes acoustic and electric guitars, organized into series with different features and styles to suit varied preferences.

For players seeking something more personal, Lakewood’s Customshop lets customers design a guitar using an online 3D Guitar Designer. Options include woods, decorative details, mother-of-pearl inlays, and hardware such as pickups and tuners. Customers can also explore selected tonewood sets in the online Wood Gallery, while the configurator displays additional costs and a clear summary of the finished design.

Lakewood welcomes visitors to its showroom in Alten-Buseck, Germany, where they can view and try a selection of guitars, receive advice, and discuss custom instruments. The company also offers regular workshop tours, providing insight into guitar making and tonewoods. Its website features model information, dealer search, guitar registration, news, and a newsletter.
