Lakings

Lakings is a family butchery based in Louth, Lincolnshire, with a history dating back to 1908. Combining traditional craft skills with online convenience, the business works with local farmers and focuses on British meat, provenance and sustainable farming. Its butchers hand-cut orders, which can be delivered nationwide, fresh and never frozen.

The online range includes steaks such as fillet, sirloin and rib eye; beef roasting joints, mince and diced cuts; grass-fed lamb; Lincolnshire-reared pork; and chicken, including whole birds, breasts, wings and thighs. Customers can also order traditional Lincolnshire sausages, the local speciality stuffed chine, bakery items, cakes and seasonal products, including Christmas meats. Lakings offers recipes and cooking inspiration alongside its products.

Orders are packed in recyclable boxes with Woolcool insulation, described as compostable and biodegradable, and delivered in temperature-controlled packaging. Next-day delivery is available, with free delivery on orders of £50 or more. Lakings also promotes a satisfaction guarantee and a no-quibble returns policy.
