LaLa is a manga magazine published by Hakusensha, celebrating its 50th anniversary with the exhibition “LaLa Original Art Exhibition: The Allure of Creation. ” The event highlights the artistic imagination behind the magazine and the stories that have inspired readers across its history. Visitors can see more than 200 original illustrations by 76 artists, alongside historic covers, magazine pages, storyboards, supplements, and other archival materials.
The exhibition also includes photo spots and interactive areas designed to bring the worlds of LaLa’s works to life. Featured creators and titles include artists such as Narumi Kakinouchi, Natsuki Takaya, Bisco Hatori, and Yuki Midorikawa, with works including CIPHER, Ouran High School Host Club, and Natsume’s Book of Friends. Official exhibition merchandise and a commemorative catalogue are also offered, with a limited-edition illustrated card for visitors.
The Tokyo exhibition is scheduled for July 17 to August 3, 2026, at Shinjuku Takashimaya, with an Osaka venue also announced. The event celebrates LaLa’s creative legacy through original art, publications, and related experiences
