About Cooperativa Sociale L'Altra Idea
L'Altra Idea società cooperativa sociale in Turin is a brand that has been providing residential and day services for individuals with disabilities since 1996. Their main goal is to focus on the individual's well-being by offering a range of services tailored to their needs. In the past, the cooperative managed one of the only two therapeutic communities for young drug addicts in Italy, achieving a success rate of over 70% in their therapeutic programs.
Over the years, their services expanded to include disability services, such as a guided work center for individuals with mild intellectual disabilities, connected to their equestrian activities. Today, L'Altra Idea plays a vital role in the disability services sector, following over 150 individuals with disabilities. They have developed their projects within a large complex situated in Torino, Via Onorato Vigliani 104.
The cooperative has also recently started managing a social concierge service for families facing housing emergencies, thanks to the contribution of Compagnia di San Paolo.
