In’VD, short for Innovation Véhicules Doux, is an association promoting alternative mobility and ecological transition in rural, mid-mountain areas. Through La Maison du Vélo Millau, it works to make cycling a simple, safe and accessible choice for everyone. Based in Millau, the association offers year-round activities and practical support for people interested in cycling, whether they are new to riding, returning after a break or seeking a more suitable way to travel.

Its services include short-term loans of family bikes, electric trekking bikes and adapted cycles, with weekly and monthly options that let people try a bike before choosing one for daily use. The fleet includes cargo bikes, tandem and child-trailer combinations, and cycles designed for older people, rehabilitation and people with disabilities. In’VD also provides adult cycling refreshers, skills workshops, bike repair support through its workshop partner, group-leader training, and bicycle convoys for school transport. Community initiatives include citizen traffic counting, advocacy for cycling infrastructure, rides and events, and efforts to identify dangerous road points.
