Lambda Literary is an organization dedicated to elevating LGBTQ+ literature and creating space for conversations that reflect the breadth and nuance of queer communities. Its Lambda Literary Review publishes reviews, interviews, features, excerpts, reading recommendations, and literary lists, bringing attention to LGBTQ+ writing across genres. Coverage spans fiction, nonfiction, poetry, romance, erotica, drama, comics, memoir, young adult, speculative fiction, and more.

The Review highlights new and anticipated books, explores literary and cultural topics, and shares conversations with authors about their work and ideas. Lambda Literary also invites submissions and supports readers in discovering books, including titles by Lambda Fellows and Lammy finalists through its Bookshop. org recommendations.

The organization’s history began with a bookstore created by queer people for queer people and continued through the publication of the Lambda Book Report. Lambda Literary’s work is supported by donations and public arts funding, and it offers opportunities to support LGBTQ+ storytelling through contributions and advertising. In 2024, the organization announced that The Review would go on hiatus
