Lamberson Guest House is a four-room bed and breakfast in an 1870 historic home on the hillside above downtown Galena, Illinois. Owned by Bart and Val Gregersen, the inn pairs nineteenth-century character with modern comforts and places guests within walking distance of Galena’s historic district, attractions, and dining. Original details include hand-carved entrance doors, leaded glass, heart-pine floors, and a tiled fireplace with a carved mantel.

The four individually furnished accommodations—Elizabeth Grand Suite, Jessie, Mary, and Maud—each have a private bathroom; three offer king beds, while Mary has a queen. Guest amenities include fireplaces and flat-screen televisions, along with shared spaces such as a parlor, living room, dining room, porch, and patio. Each morning, guests are served a made-from-scratch three-course breakfast.
