About International Meeting on Laminopathies
The 4th International Meeting on Laminopathies, taking place in Madrid from May 9-12, 2023, aims to unite researchers, clinicians, and patients in the pursuit of effective therapies and, ultimately, a cure for laminopathies. These rare diseases, caused by mutations in genes related to the nuclear envelope's proteins, affect various tissues and organs. With a focus on clinical, mechanistic, and therapeutic aspects, the meeting will facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas among approximately 200 participants.
Sessions will cover biomarkers, disease modeling, and patient advocacy, offering a comprehensive approach to understanding and treating laminopathies. Alongside renowned speakers, the event will provide a platform for unpublished research findings and support early career researchers and PhD students.
