About The Lamont Heritage Association
The Lamont Heritage Association is a registered Scottish charity dedicated to exploring and sharing the history and heritage of Clan Lamont and the worldwide family of its descendants. Its work connects the past with the present through research, learning and community engagement, while helping preserve knowledge for the future. The association aims to develop online resources and a bibliography, and to build an active online community where people can take part in discovering Lamont history.
It also engages with members in their family-tree research and collaborates with other heritage organisations to develop and share knowledge about the contributions of Lamont descendants to societies around the world. Membership is open to people who are Lamont by descent, marriage or adoption, those connected to the Lamont family or associated names, and anyone interested in Highland clan history and heritage. The association provides news, forums and member services, and welcomes support through donations
