LandCrafted

LandCrafted is the woodworking and instrument-making portfolio of Kevin Land, showcasing hands-on craftsmanship across musical instruments, restoration projects, and custom woodwork. The site documents the careful processes behind building and repairing guitars, ukuleles, and mandolins, from shaping necks and bending sides to fitting bridges, bracing soundboards, and setting frets. Its restoration work includes vintage and well-worn instruments, such as Harmony guitars, 1930s parlor guitars, and older mandolins, with projects ranging from neck resets and replacement backs to body repairs and inlay work.

LandCrafted also features original builds, including classical guitars, a soprano ukulele, a mountain dulcimer, and a cigar box ukulele. Alongside instrument work, the portfolio presents custom woodworking projects such as furniture, media pieces, kitchen work, laminate surfaces, and spindle details. Blog-style project notes offer a close look at the tools, materials, jigs, and methods used, reflecting a practical, workshop-centered approach to making and restoring distinctive wooden pieces
