Welcome to Landgut Nemt, where agriculture is done right. We are a brand that offers regional, organic products from the Leipziger Land. Our focus is on providing high-quality dairy products from our own dairy farm.

Using the milk from our cows, we produce a range of delicious and traditional dairy products, including organic quark, fresh cheese, yogurt, and various types of cheese. Our commitment to craftsmanship and natural processing is evident in every product we make. We prioritize freshness and short processing times, ensuring that our milk is processed just a few hours after milking.

In addition to our dairy products, we also grow a variety of organic vegetables, such as potatoes, onions, and peas, on hundreds of hectares of land. We follow the principles of organic farming, which means no chemical pesticides, no synthetic fertilizers, and a lot of manual work. Our commitment to sustainability extends to our biogas plant, where we use the manure and feed waste from our cowshed to generate environmentally friendly electricity.

We produce 8,000,000 kWh of electricity per year, enough to power approximately 2,300 households. The story of Landgut Nemt is the story of two brothers who seized the opportunities of the reunification in the early 90s. They transformed five locations of the LPG Wurzen Ost, including staff, stables, and animals, into a successful agricultural enterprise.

Once a year, we celebrate with a farm festival, attracting thousands of visitors interested in learning about our cheese-making process, how we care for our cows, and how we grow our vegetables.
