About Landlord's Self-Help Centre
Landlord's Self-Help Centre (LSHC) is a unique community clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario, dedicated to providing services exclusively to small-scale landlords throughout Ontario. Founded in 1975 as Landlord Aid or Landl'Aid, the organization's mission is to educate the community on landlord and tenant relations. LSHC offers a range of casework services, including general information, referral, summary advice, and document preparation.
Additionally, they provide public legal education programs and projects to further enhance knowledge and understanding. LSHC is actively involved in law reform activities and community development initiatives, working towards improving the landlord-tenant landscape. With core funding from Legal Aid Ontario, LSHC ensures consistency and expands its service area geographically.
