The Landscape Academy is a learning initiative of Landscape Alliance, delivered in partnership with the Global Landscapes Forum. Founded with support from the World Bank, UNEP, and Wageningen University & Research, it aims to make high-quality landscape education accessible worldwide and support a more sustainable and equitable world. Its learning draws on research and field experience in forests, trees, agroforestry, restoration, and sustainable landscape management.

The Academy offers free, self-paced online courses through its e-learning platform, with subjects including mangrove blue carbon, stakeholder engagement, governance, and agroforestry. Courses are designed for learners and practitioners, combining scientific knowledge with practical guidance. The platform also features partner courses from universities and other organizations, covering topics such as sustainable agriculture and finance. Learners can join communities that connect researchers, practitioners, and students across regions and disciplines; some are open to everyone, while others require an invitation. The Academy also hosts webinars and events, creating opportunities to learn from and connect with experts and peers working to restore landscapes and manage them sustainably.
