About Landtechnik-Museum
Landtechnik-Museum Burgenland is an agricultural technology museum in St. Michael, in Austria’s southern Burgenland region. Recognised with the Austrian Museum Quality Seal, it presents around 200 years of farming history across more than 2,700 square metres of covered exhibition space.
Its collection traces the development of agricultural work and machinery, from the sickle to the combine harvester, and includes restored historic tractors and farm equipment. Visitors can explore how farming changed over time, including an era when horses were used to plough fields and harvest crops. The museum welcomes individual visitors during its seasonal opening period, from 1 April to 31 October, with daily hours from 9 a.
m. to noon and 1 p. m.
to 5 p. m. Groups and school classes can also arrange visits outside regular opening hours with advance registration.
The museum provides information about its exhibits, visitor planning, events and access, and invites guests to contact its team with questions or to enquire about a guided tour. It is located at Schulstraße 12, with parking available on site
