Lange Aviation GmbH

Lange Aviation GmbH is a German aerospace company specializing in sustainable aircraft technology and electric flight, an area it has pursued since 1999. Based at Zweibrücken, the company began developing series-produced electric aircraft before the turn of the millennium and has delivered its Antares electric performance aircraft to customers since 2004. Its Antares range includes the 21E and 23E, designed for high performance, autonomous launching and efficient soaring.

Beyond complete aircraft, Lange Aviation develops and supplies electric propulsion and battery systems, power electronics, drive control units and charging equipment for low-emission aviation. Its engineering work also supports eVTOL aircraft, motor gliders and airships. The company’s Flying Lab development platform, based on the six-motor Antares E2, enables research and sensor integration for piloted or unpiloted missions, including hydrogen-electric applications.

Lange Aviation offers development, service, training and after-sales support, as well as components and technical resources for business customers. Its work includes the Antares H2, which completed a piloted flight powered by fuel cells.
