About Language and Learning Foundation
The Language and Learning Foundation (LLF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving early literacy skills and multilingual education programs for students in India. Their vision is to ensure that all children have strong foundational skills in language, literacy, thinking, and reasoning, which will enable them to reach their full potential. LLF works closely with state governments and collaborates with various stakeholders to influence classroom practices and provide professional development opportunities for teachers and teacher educators.
The foundation focuses on addressing the challenges faced by teachers, such as limited focus on comprehension, inappropriate classroom practices, and low learning levels. Through their efforts, LLF aims to enhance the learning outcomes of over 3 crore children by 2024, which accounts for almost 46% of all children in grades 1-3 in government schools at risk of not acquiring foundational skills. With a team of experienced experts and educators, LLF strives to create a positive impact on education and empower students for a brighter future
