Langur Project Penang (LPP) is a citizen science-driven outreach and conservation project that focuses on Dusky Langurs (Trachypithecus obscurus). The project aims to promote coexistence between humans and urban wildlife through research, education, and conservation efforts.

The project conducts long-term studies and monitoring of the ecology, behavior, and road ecology of Dusky Langurs. By understanding their habitat and behavior, LPP works towards mitigating the threats faced by these arboreal creatures.

LPP also actively engages in environmental education and outreach programs to raise awareness about the importance of coexisting with wildlife in our shared space. They aim to bridge the gap between humans and langurs, fostering understanding and empathy.

In terms of conservation efforts, LPP has installed Malaysia's first road canopy bridge to address the issue of forest fragmentation and reduce wildlife roadkill incidents.
