Länkyn Taekwondo

Länkyn Taekwondo ry is a Taekwondo club in Kangasala, Finland, offering an accessible and affordable martial arts and fitness hobby for children, adults, and families. Newcomers can join without prior experience, and the club welcomes people to try a session before deciding to take part. Training takes place at Huutijärvi School, with opportunities to begin on Saturdays.

The club’s programs include beginner and coloured-belt groups, body care and mobility training, and focused practice in forms and movement sequences. Its Taekwondo instruction covers foundational techniques, sparring, poomsae, breaking, self-defence, and breathing and concentration exercises. The club also provides belt-test requirements and training themes to support members’ progress, including age-appropriate requirements for children.

Alongside martial arts skills, training is intended to develop fitness, balance, flexibility, coordination, concentration, confidence, and self-defence ability. Länkyn Taekwondo encourages family participation and has offered a free beginner course for a parent whose child already trains with the club.
