Länsilentäjät

Länsilentäjät ry is an aviation club based at Pori Airport in the city of Pori, Finland. With more than one hundred members, the association brings together people interested in aviation and supports flying activities at the local airport. Its flying season is busiest from spring through autumn, when members operate a Piper aircraft. During the deepest part of winter, the aircraft is grounded for the seasonal break and attention turns to maintenance.

The club’s website introduces its aircraft and history, provides a map, and includes a booking log for flight-related arrangements. It also shares current notices and aviation information. Announced topics include an aviation safety evening and updates to 1:500,000-scale aeronautical charts, reflecting the club’s interest in practical flying knowledge as well as aircraft operations. Länsilentäjät offers a community setting for aviation enthusiasts in the Pori area, with seasonal flying and aircraft care at the heart of its activities.
