Welcome to Lanthan Safe Sky! As the first approved manufacturer, we offer demand-controlled night marking (BNK) of aviation obstacles using transponder signals. Our mission is to bring back the darkness of the night to residents and nature, while making the sky safer for users of the lower airspace. Our transponder BNK locates air traffic based on the signals it emits.

When not needed, such as when there are no aircraft nearby, we turn off the red obstacle warning lights on wind turbines. Our onshore and offshore approved technology is radar-free, cost-effective, and highly secure. We reliably detect air traffic from ground level to high altitudes.

With over 10 years of development work, our BNK system has minimal activation times for hazard lights, so the red lights remain dark for most of the night. Though Lanthan Safe Sky is relatively young, we have a wealth of experience. Our team of over 40 experts in aviation, obstacle marking, project management, and wind energy works hand in hand to tailor our transponder BNK to your project.

As of January 1, 2024, all wind turbines on land subject to marking requirements must be equipped with demand-controlled night marking. This affects approximately 17,500 installations nationwide. Achieving this number within the required timeframe requires competence, experience, and prompt action.
