la Nuit d'Elune

La Nuit d’Elune is a small, family-run breeding kennel specialising in English Cocker Spaniels. Based around the dogs’ home environment, the kennel became a professional operation in January 2016, following an earlier litter raised as a private owner. Its puppies are registered with the French LOF pedigree system and are raised in the house alongside the family and other animals. They become accustomed to people, everyday household sounds and animal companions from an early age.

The kennel focuses on preventing inherited cocker spaniel conditions, including progressive retinal atrophy (PRA, or APR in French) and familial nephropathy (NF); its breeding dogs are health-tested for these conditions. La Nuit d’Elune offers planned litters, information about available puppies and guidance to help prospective owners find a suitable match. Visitors can meet the dogs and see their surroundings by appointment, and the breeder welcomes conversations about a family’s lifestyle and preferences. Puppy selection takes account of developing temperaments, with final choices made from around one month of age.
