Lanzarote Wine Run is an outdoor sporting and cultural event set among the vineyards of La Geria, a distinctive wine-growing landscape on the island of Lanzarote. It brings together running, walking, local food and wine, inviting participants and visitors to enjoy the region while celebrating its traditions. Race options include 12-kilometre and 23-kilometre running routes, as well as a 12-kilometre trekking route.
The programme also features WineRun Kids, activities, live music and an awards ceremony. Alongside the event, WineFestival welcomes runners and non-runners alike to sample wines bearing the Lanzarote Designation of Origin and discover local produce and Canarian cuisine in a festive setting. The event provides registration information, race regulations, participant resources and practical details such as bib collection and schedules.
Because the routes pass through a protected landscape, participants are asked to follow marked paths, avoid littering and respect local wildlife and vegetation. Lanzarote Wine Run offers a shared experience combining sport, gastronomy and the cultural identity of the island
