Laojia

Laijia.fr presents Association Taiji Laojia, which offers classes in Chen-style Taiji Quan in Auray and the surrounding area of France. Rooted in Chinese martial arts and the philosophy of yin and yang, the practice combines sequences of codified movements with partner work and the study of traditional weapons, including the sabre, sword, spear and halberd. Classes are held at École primaire Éric Tabarly in Auray, with sessions listed on Mondays and Fridays.

The association introduces Taiji Quan as both a martial art and a way to develop balance, calm and flexibility. Training emphasizes relaxed, deliberate movement, posture, breathing and awareness of the body’s relationship with its surroundings. Participants can adapt their effort to their fitness and personal aims, whether seeking strength, stress reduction or support for their health. The site also describes benefits such as improved stability, mobility and muscular strength. Its information covers the Chen style, its characteristics and instructor, alongside news and workshops, including events with Master Chen Ying Jun.
