About Laolaltă
FACTS, which stands for Fighting Against Disinformation about Ukraine in Romania and Moldova, is a project aimed at combating misinformation and propaganda surrounding the conflict in Ukraine and the lives of Ukrainian refugees in Romania and Moldova. Through research, social media campaigns, and collaboration with the media, FACTS strives to identify and counter myths, fake news, and propaganda related to the Ukrainian conflict and the lives of Ukrainian refugees. The project involves various components such as community workshops, informative content creation for social media, and promoting positive stories about Ukrainian refugees to foster understanding and empathy.
FACTS is funded by TechSoup and Hive Mind and implemented in partnership with @Asociația LOGS in Chișinău (Republica Moldova) and Timișoara (Romania) from February to April 2024. Join FACTS in the fight against misinformation and discrimination based on false information
