About Friends of Lapham peak
Garden, and more. At Friends of Lapham Peak, we are passionate about supporting and promoting the Kettle Moraine State Forest - Lapham Peak Unit. As a nonprofit organization founded in 1989, our mission is to enhance the park experience for visitors while also assisting the DNR's personnel.
With a wide range of activities and services, we strive to make your time at Lapham Peak truly memorable. Enjoy our annual events like the Feel the Burn 5k and the Colorama, where you can immerse yourself in the stunning natural beauty of the forest. Explore our extensive trail system for hiking, biking, and running, or indulge in winter sports with our ski trails and rentals.
In addition to our events and trails, we offer various amenities including the Lapham Lodge, Hausmann Nature Center, Evergreen Shelter, and picnic shelters for your convenience. Discover our collection of Lapham Peak mugs, clothing, and stickers for sale at the office, with proceeds benefiting the Friends of Lapham Peak projects. Join us in preserving this extraordinary park by becoming a member, making a donation, or volunteering.
Together, we can continue to make Lapham Peak one of the best parks in Wisconsin
