About Läpimurtosäätiö
Läpimurtosäätiö is a new Finnish sports support foundation that aims to enable the international breakthrough of numerous promising young Finnish athletes. In addition to elite sports, the foundation supports organizations that strive to create equal opportunities for Finnish children to engage in physical activities and thereby achieve their own breakthrough in life. Founded in 2022, Läpimurtosäätiö distributed its first grants in the summer of 2023.
With an initial capital of 3 million euros, the foundation intends to increase it to 30 million euros through donations. The first donations were received in the spring of 2023. Läpimurtosäätiö collaborates with partners to make Finnish youths' dreams in sports and life a reality.
