Fundacja Łap Oddech

Fundacja Łap Oddech is a Polish foundation supporting people living with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and their families. Founded by sisters whose own family was affected by the disease, the organization combines personal understanding with a commitment to reliable information and responsible advocacy. It aims to help patients navigate a rare, serious, chronic condition, improve their quality of life, strengthen access to modern treatment, and raise public awareness.

The foundation offers information and support for patients and loved ones, and creates opportunities to connect with experts and one another. Its activities include workshops for nurses and other healthcare professionals, psychological workshops, webinars, and the “Oddychaj” campaign. It also shares patient experiences to help people facing a new diagnosis, inform families, and highlight the importance of timely diagnosis and treatment. Through patient advocacy, public engagement, and dialogue with healthcare institutions, Fundacja Łap Oddech works to make patients’ needs heard and encourage meaningful changes in the healthcare system. Its work is guided by accuracy, accountability, attentiveness, and collaboration.
