La poésie partout is an organization that has created inclusive, collective poetry projects since 2017. Guided by a commitment to diverse poetic practices, it develops ways to bring poetry to varied audiences and into different settings through mediation, outreach, and original initiatives. Its work includes organizing the Journée du poème à porter, the Dehors est un poème activity series, and the Rencontres multilingues en poésie, while also maintaining a calendar of poetry events. The organization undertakes commissioned projects and has produced the Guide de survie en poésie.
Its activities range from workshops, public readings, and writing residencies to festivals and site-based poetry experiences. Recent and upcoming initiatives include multilingual poetry gatherings, events in Montreal’s Chinatown, Une forêt de poèmes, and a writing residency at the Sentier poétique in Saint-Venant-de-Paquette. Through collaborations with cultural and educational partners, La poésie partout creates opportunities for people to encounter, make, and share poetry in public and community spaces.
