La Posta – Taste of Argentina is an upmarket North Argentine steakhouse in central Jakarta, founded in 2017 by Kat and Chef Pancho. Drawing on Pancho’s culinary experience in Salta and Buenos Aires, the restaurant brings the warmth and traditions of Argentine cuisine to Indonesia, with a focus on dependable food and attentive, professional service. Guests can dine in or order takeaway, and the restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday.
The menu features Argentine grill specialties, including butterfly-cut ribeye, sirloin strip steak and salt-crusted beef short ribs, alongside homemade pasta such as spinach and ricotta pansotti. Traditional dishes include hand-cut beef empanadas baked in-house, humita en chala, a sweetcorn parcel, and locro, a hearty beef and pork soup. Appetizers range from pickled beef tongue to the ham and potato Revuelto Gramajo. La Posta also offers Argentine celebration cakes and a bookable dining experience suited to family meals, romantic dinners and work meetings.
