About LAPRAAC
LAPRAAC, the Los Angeles Police Revolver and Athletic Club, has been a pillar in training and supporting the Los Angeles Police Department for over 85 years. Established in 1931, LAPRAAC initially focused on marksmanship training for LAPD officers. Over the years, LAPRAAC evolved into providing comprehensive training and recreational facilities for both sworn and civilian members of the police department.
The LAPRAAC income is generated through the Academy Store, cafe lounge, and facility rental for various events. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors comprising sworn police officers. LAPRAAC owns most of its buildings, with some exceptions, and ensures financial solvency through diverse revenue streams.
