Larkhall Festival

Larkhall Festival is a community-run annual event held in Larkhall village, Bath, over the May bank holiday weekend. Established in 2009, it brings neighbours and visitors together through live music, arts, food, family activities and a wide programme of community events. The festival is organized entirely by volunteers, with local venues, artists, traders, schools, churches, businesses and residents contributing to its delivery. Its schedule and photo galleries help attendees plan their visit and revisit festival highlights, while volunteer opportunities invite people to take part behind the scenes.

The festival aims to keep its events free and relies on donations and sponsorship to meet its yearly operating costs, which are nearly £8,000. Supporters can contribute through Crowdfunder, including by arranging regular monthly payments to help fund future festivals and ongoing expenses. Beyond the main weekend, Larkhall Festival holds community activities and fundraisers, including volunteer gatherings, an annual festival-planning meeting, Christmas Larks and a quiz. Its focus is on celebrating local creativity and strengthening community connections in Larkhall.
